10. "Sexual assault is when an individual harasses and violates someone else in a sexual way."

11.  "My experience with sexual assault started in college. I was at a party with some friends and I had to use the bathroom, I was waiting outside the door and could hear a girl crying so I knocked and asked if she was okay. The door was locked so I asked the owner of the apartment to open the door. He did but he had to force it open and a guy was in there with her trying to act like it was his girlfriend. The girl's friends came and said they had never seen him and that their friend didn't know him. The girl was pretty drunk to the point that you could tell she didnt know what was going on. The guy was thrown out but the girl said she had been forced to do things."

12. "I feel like just being more aware of my surroundings and not going anywhere alone at night. I cant control what other people do but I can control what situations I put myself in."

13. "Texas State offers therapists and on campus resources for victims I believe. Also I know of that one organization Not On My Campus who advocate to stop sexual assault on campus. I guess its hard because I feel like sexual assault happens more off campus like at parties for example. The university can only help people after the fact that they've been assaulted. "

10. "I would define sexual assault as words or actions that cause harm physically and emotionally. It is more than a physical assault, I think its also verbal."

11. "Personally I've been groped at a bar with friends, I didnt even know the guy. I was dancing around my friends and he came up behind me and groped me. I was not expecting it. I remember turning around and he was already walking away I felt so disgusted. Theres also been times when older men will look at me up and down in an obvious way. I hate the feeling of someone literally eating you with their eyes. I feel like that is also a form of sexual assault in a way."

12. "In my honest opinion there is probably nothing I can do to prevent it, i feel like if its going to happen its gonna happen. Someone who purposely wants to hurt, rape, or assault someone will find a way. And its really sad because that just proves how we cant put a stop to it. I guess I can just be more aware and know whats going on around me at all times, but even then, its hard."

13. "The university has some on campus sources that I know of, but I do feel like they try their best at preventing sexual assault from happening on campus. I dont hear of incidents happening on campus, just outside of campus."
